Do I need to bring my car to you?
No. We’re a mobile service: Jake fits your towbar at your home or workplace.

How do I get a quote?
Use our quote form or email sales@thetowbarman.com. Quotes are free with no obligation.
How much will my towbar cost?
It depends on your vehicle, the towbar and the electrics you choose, so we quote each job individually.
Do you fit towbars to motorhomes?
Yes. For coachbuilt motorhomes we can’t give a price up front: send photos of the underside and the VIN plate to sales@thetowbarman.com and we’ll quote from those.
Which towbar should I choose?
We fit three types: fixed flange, fixed swan neck and detachable swan neck. Our types of towbars page explains each one, and we’ll advise when you ask for a quote.
Can I use an AL-KO or ATC stabiliser?
Yes. Our swan neck towbars work with AL-KO and ATC stabilisers.
Which electrics do you fit?
We fit 13-pin dedicated electrics.
Will my car need coding?
Some cars do. Where coding is needed, we do it as part of the fitting.
Which brands do you fit?
Mainly Tow-Trust towbars, plus other quality brands including ConWys, ECS, Brink and Oris.
How experienced are you?
Jake has over 18 years’ experience in the towing industry.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
How do I pay?
By cash or bank transfer on completion.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. Every fitting comes with a 12 month guarantee.
