Towbar jobs around Wigston this year
Wigston is one of our busiest areas. We’ve quoted for more than 35 towbars in and around the town this year, and seven of those were booked in.
The Ford Kuga was the vehicle we were asked about most, followed by the Audi Q5 and the Vauxhall Vivaro. Detachable towbars were the most requested type, with fixed flange towbars second.
Why people in Wigston tow
The Grand Union Canal winds past South Wigston and Kilby Bridge, and Wigston’s Framework Knitters Museum is a reminder of the town’s knitting history. Locals tow caravans, horse boxes and work trailers alike.
A detachable towbar suits cars that only tow occasionally, while a fixed flange suits vans like the Vivaro that pull a trailer most days. We fit both, as well as fixed swan necks, with 13-pin dedicated electrics.
